The Swedish gaming operator Leovec announced that the gambling app went live on the Google Play Store in Sweden, Denmark and Spain to make the company the first gambling company that had its mobile app available through the official Android-based, mobile devices in these markets.

By complying with the conformity requirements to be listed on the Google Play Store, LeoVega's history creates the first gambling operator to have its app in the store in these three countries.

Recently, Google announced that they would abolish the ban on gamblingapper With effect from 1 March 2021, and expand the list of countries where operators can reach customers via Google Play Store with an additional 15, including Spain, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Canada, and the United States. Before just the giant lifted the ban on gambling apps, only the apps in the UK, Brazil, France and Ireland allowed it.

App application process

The prohibition of the prohibition did not mean an automatic influx of apps, as Google announced criteria each game operator willing to offer its app via the largest app store for Android-based mobile devices will fulfill as part of the application process.
